Stanislaus National Forrest August 2004 Well, just another nice little
trip with our Disco friends. Wanted to do Slick Rock, but ran out
of time. So we just camped a short way in and took some poser pics.
Still, there were a lot of people there. It's getting worse every
year. Gun shots at 730am bug me.... Also, sheared the pin of the
JKS disconnect on the way down. Didn't disconnect as we were going
in only a half mile. Taught me a lesson. Than there is the "Boat
Issue"...but we won't get into that. Also, saw a lot of ACE
Hardware stores along the way, but we won't get into that either.
